Another Color Challenge

Pretty colors, who would have thought? I am not sure I would have ever put these together but they are so pretty. I cased the most recent Stampin' Success, a magazine for demonstrators.

Thanks for looking!

More June Paper Pumpkin Ideas

I told you to come back today for more ideas to do with the June My Paper Pumpkin kit and I don't think you will be disappointed. These ideas are super fun and I still have enough to make at least 4 more cards using the kit! The 1st idea is all mine...the other's were cased from Pintrest.

Close up of the burger...made with 2 ovals, 1 oval inked, a flower cut in half and 1 half inked, plus 2 leaves. Looks yummy!

CCMC364 - Color Challenge

Well, I have to admit that these colors stumped me for a while. So what do you do when you don't know what to do...flip through the wonderful catalog for inspiration. I got the the wheelbarrow stamp in You're Sublime and voila! I used the same layout for the last card I had made because it is so versatile and easy.

Traveler Challenge Card

As summer is quickly coming to an end...especially for school teachers, nurses etc...I am dreaming of travels as usual. This is now my 2nd summer to not have off after 13 years of having summers off with  my school job. Yes, I still miss it greatly! So, I am always dreaming of the 'good old days of yon!" Alas, I digress. My card for this challenge is very basic...Basic Gray, Real Red and Whisper White. The birthday stamp is from Something to Say.

Life Doesn't Have to be Pearfect

I saw this card on Connie Babbert's fantastic site and since I had the DSP I had to case it, I changed my sentiment and wrote in the "pear"fect to make it punny.

Another You're Sublime card

I tell you what. This layout is perfect for this set and you can do so much by just changing the DSP. This one was made using retired DSP but I love the sea and couldn't resist this little crab. Here's to having lots of snappy days in the future!!!

Kinda Eclectic

I was casing this weekend to play a little catch-up on my blogging and came across this card that I have saved. The original was done by Debbie Henderson. I used the same sketch and changed the colors up.

You're Sublime - Follow Your Heart

One of the things we love to do and don't have a lot of time for it is camping. We have a little pop-up and have been camping for our whole marriage. We even camped on our honeymoon! We still have a simple pop-up but it is fun. Love this set!

Dreaming of Zebra's

I got a sample of all the DSP's in the catalog and started playing. This first one is from the fun stack called Go Wild and it is going to be fun for the Zoo Babies stamp set and for lots of WILD cards. I made one like this many years ago with tearing of the card stock to make the stripes. This one was much easier! I used the sentiment from Let's Get Away because I am hoping to go to Africa before all the wild is truly gone!!!

CCMC363 - Sketch Challenge

It is Monday and I am feeling like doing another challenge. It really gets my MOJO going. Yesterday was a color challenge and today is a sketch. This one came together quickly with the help of the fun Project Life stamp set Let's Get Away. I am always ready for a get-a-way so this one really speaks to me. I love to fly, camp, drive or cruise!  This is the CCMC363 sketch.

I did my card similarly to this sketch...

PPA259: A Color Challenge

Today I am playing with the Pals...that is the Pals Paper Arts team. They have such talented stampers and the ideas just gush forth. This week it is a color challenge and I knew exactly what I was going to do with it when I saw it. Of course, it took me a few days to get it done and blogged. Here are the colors...

Here is my answer to this color challenge...

MOJO Monday 405

Today I am playing with the MOJO Monday sketch as seen above. It was a fun sketch. You know I love the sketches. They make it so easy to make a card. Just follow their pattern putting in your own colors and stamps/images. I punched out a cupcake and sprinkled it using Gorgeous Grunge. I made the cherry using the little pearls and my trusty sharpie. The stem was made using the bird punch. The DSP is from the Cherry on Top stack. The sentiment is from All Boxed Up. It was quick and easy. My colors are Bermuda Bay, Watermelon Wonder and Whisper White.

From Land to Sea

I ordered this stamp set because I love the sea and all the things that go with it. Now that I have it I am stumped as to how to use it. I decided to play with the sea turtle stamp and make it look like she just laid her eggs and is heading back to sea. I added a little dazzle to the sea because the sun is just beginning to shine on it somewhere.

Playing with the Grands

I have to admit...I have been too busy to stamp this last week! Say it isn't so... Well,  my grands are here from Georgia and we have been busy cooking and playing and feeding the ducks do much stamping. However, since it was the 4th of July we did make a few goodies.
