Perfectly Wrapped #2

Another Perfectly Wrapped card. This one uses strips of the Pop of Pink DSP to look like washi tape. I love the Bright colors! They always pop especially when paired with Black!

Petite Petals #1

I almost skipped another stamp set. It would be criminal. This one is really fun and it also has a coordinating punch to go with the little flowers.

Perfectly Wrapped

I got to stamp a whole bunch this past week, mainly on one night when my hubby was out at late work meetings and so since I am in the middle of the ABC stamping I had started and totally missed this stamp set. I had to go back and make a couple to keep things in order. It is a new set from the new catalog. It also has a fun project kit that I will be making with friends in the future.

Papillon Potpourri #3

Here it is, card # 3 using the Papillon Potpourri. Such fun little butterflies and they have punches to make cutting them out so simple! This one features all the latest In Colors.

Papillon Potpourri #2

For this card I tried a technique of 'hiding' the sentiment. If you look closely you can see the 'happy' hiding in the butterflies (at least that is what I was going for). I used Flirty Flamingo and Tempting Turquoise for these little happy butterflies.

Papillon Potpourri #1

I made 3 cards with this set, I guess I was really inspired. I have been working the yard a lot and moving some butterfly bushes and seeing more butterflies so I just fell in love with these little beauties all over again!

Over the Rainbow #2

Another pretty rainbow card and while looking for a ribbon I came across this scrap and decided to go for it. I love the rainbow effect on the zigzag ribbon.

Over the Rainbow #1

Well, it appears that my stamp sets have a little gap in the ABC's...from K to O. That makes my next set be Over the Rainbow. It is a lovely set and I have been in love with rainbows since I saw my very first one. In fact, we tend to see at least one rainbow on every vacation...sometimes daily! I cased this card from Mary Brown.

Kinda Eclectic #2

I used all the stamps in the set for this one except the sentiment. It could easily be on the inside but I leave them blank until I know who I am sending them to. I love the new colors on this card...the In Colors - Dapper Denim, Flirty Flamingo and Emerald Envy. The are so pretty together.

Kinda Eclectic #1

I have always liked this set since I first spied it in the catalog. It makes so many great cards and projects. I made 2 cards with it this time around. They are similar but different. The first one uses the 15-16 In Color Mint Macaron. I found the giant jewels and could not resist the big bling for the otherwise not so bright colors.

Hardwood #2

I really like the way this one came out. I used the image and the oldest set in the catalog...A Tree for All Seasons and came up with a great masculine sympathy card. I love the brown and blue together.

Perfectly Wrapped #2

Another Perfectly Wrapped card...this one features some the yummy Moroccan DSP. I kept it very simple and the background is quite busy.

Hardwood #1

I really like this background but find it challenging to use sometimes. I like the big backgrounds but getting a great image can be challenging. I find that if I turn it up and ink it then lay my card stock on the up and inked stamp and rub I get a much better image.

Gorgeous Grunge #2

Another fun background card using Gorgeous Grunge. I am really drawn to these types of cards and have used this set numerously on many cards and projects. This one uses the splatters and a pretty buterfly.

Gorgeous Grunge #1

Continuing on with my orderly fashion of showing stamp sets...I am up to the G's. This card was done using Gorgeous Grunge. Since it is still the week of the 4th I thought I would make it a bit on the patriotic side. Also be great for anyone retiring from the military!

Friendly Wishes #2

Sorry about the interruption but the holiday takes precedent! I got this one from SCS as well. I did not have the same papers so I used some layers in Cucumber Crush and Flirty Flamingo. They look great together!

Happy 4th of July!

I made a quick and easy 4th of July card for my blog. I saw one similar to it and cased it. I used the new Dapper Denim for the background and the splatter is from the Gorgeous Grunge set. I used my glitter paper to make the stars. The Celebrate is from the Suite Sayings set. I hope you all have a healthy, happy 4th!

Friendly Wishes

This is one of those sets that features more words than anything else. It has some great sentiments and so I used them to embellish cards. I love the color combo red, white and black. It always looks so good. This one used the new Swirly die cuts. Very easy to use.
