Flower Shop #3

This is the 3rd and final flower shop card I am showing in this series. I think it is my favorite of the three I did. I love the colors...Pool Party, Island Indigo and Pear Pizzazz. It turned out so pretty. I added the spots from the Gorgeous Grunge set.

Flower Shop #2

Another pretty flower shop card that I cased from SCS. I  have not been there in a while, so many pretty cards to inspire and create! This card is a 5-1/2 x 5-1/2 square. It costs extra to mail but some people are worth a little more, right? I used the new Flirty Famingo on this one.

Flower Shop

This is a cute little card that I cased from Connie Babbert. It was quick and simple. I love the idea of the butterfly made from a flower. I changed the colors but the layout is all her.

Butterfly Basics #4

By the time you are seeing this I will have been back from my Alaskan cruise. We decided to cruise to a different part of the world for our 35th anniversary. I am looking forward to having some pictures to share with you. This is the 4th and final Butterfly Basic for now. I am using the new In Colors, Dapper Denim and Emerald Envy. Also, this card is being submitted to the CPC Challenge 60 as seen here for the sketch.

Butterfly Basics #3

This is a soft and pretty butterfly card. It is butterfly season so why not make a bunch? I have some new butterfly bushes that have really taken off here in my yard. So far I am only seeing some white butterflies that are not moths but I am sure more will be here soon. This card uses the Soft Sky and some vellum.

Butterfly Basics #2

I have to say that I really like how this one came out. It has a lot of background stamps with the focal point being the butterfly and the gold embossed fern. It was simple but is elegant, at least I think so. Too bad the gold embossing does not show in the picture.

Butterfly Basics

Well, I really used this stamp set. I actually made 4 cards using this one. I must really like it. Lol! It has such great images I am sure I could make many more using it. This first one is very simple. I cut the butterfly and put some DSP behind it and stamped the sentiment. I may be doing this one again with new DSP soon!

Botanical Blooms #2

Another pretty Botanical Blooms. I did not use this set nearly enough in the mini session so I am going to have to use it more now. Thankfully it is in the new big catalog. the colors used here are Old Olive, Elegant Eggplant and Bermuda Bay.

Botanical Blooms

Ok, I totally cased this one from SPS and as you can tell, my computer is not showing my watermark. I am editing and saving and then I can't find it when I am ready to post. So, I am using the plain card but I did make them. I am using some retired DSP for this one but it is so pretty. I am going to be using the edge again soon!

Awesomely Artistic # 2

This is my 2nd attempt for this set. I love the dragonfly in the set. We have so many dragonflies here in OKC. I am surprised at all the different colors they are. So fun and pretty. Even the 'ugly' ones are amazing to me.

Awesomely Artistic

I am going through my stamp sets alphabetically and trying to make a 2 cards using each set. I did this a few  years ago and it challenged me to use all the sets. Since we have just had the retirement party and I have not bought a lot of new stamp sets it should last for a couple of months with my 22 current stamp sets. I am still waiting on some of the new DSP to arrive. Mine was on backorder!

Flower Fest

My garden/yard is in full bloom this spring. I bought that soil for my pots that has the diaper gels in it so you 'can't over or under water' it. Well, so far so good. We will see what happens if I go on vacation and no one waters it for a few days! So, I was inspired to do this card with the new in colors and I cased Nancy Littrell for the layout.  I know just who gets this little beauty!

Sheltering Tree

We just did a Ladies Day this weekend and I made this card for the hostess. She opened her home and has a beautifully wooded yard for us to meet in. I love the background and it was so easy to do. I just used my sponges and ink with Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Melon Mambo.

Perfectly Wrapped

I saw Connie do a card like this on her blog and cased one for me. I don't have any of the new DSP yet, mine was backordered :(, so I used what I had to make this card. I did get the Swirly Bird bundle and love to be able to make the circles in any colors. I cannot image free handing these! I also got all the new In Color ribbons. They are so pretty!

Celebrate

I saw this card on the web and bookmarked to make one for myself. I actually made 4 of them cutting all the card stock at the same time. I used 4 of the new In Color card stock to make my card. I added the Celebrate and colored some of the white perfect accents to add for a pop. Keeping things simple!

Another Father's Day

While we are remembering...we had a funeral this weekend. It was someone's father, husband and friend. It reminds me that this is the 21st Father's Day that my dad has been in heaven. I still miss him! But, I have a great husband and father to our 3 children and the Pops to 3 grandchildren. Here is another card I made and hope to remember to pack for our Alaskan cruise. I thought it was better since it has the ship on it. Hopefully it will not be like the Titanic!
