Hello - Sale-a-Bration set

It is hard to believe that this is a Leap Year and that Sale-a-Bration is almost over! Only 1 month left to get those FREE SAB sets and accessories you have been thinking about. This is another card I made using the Hello set from SAB.

Creating Pretty Cards – Sketch Challenge #56!

I love playing with card challenges and when you have a real chance to win...well, I am in! Today I am playing with the CPC card challenge of which I did win last month. Woo Hoo! Each month there is a sketch and a tutorial to do the sketch. Add your creative touches and Voila!

Now, for my card, also pink! P.S. Loving this pretty pink glitter paper.

Birthday Card Class #5 and Final

This last card I made for a woman or a child of any age. Since women seem to  love cards so much more than men that is what I really had in mind. It could work for a man...not too frilly...just not too masculine.

Birthday Card Class #4

This little card was planned for a little girl. This little chick is so cute. I am planning to use it for an Easter project soon. We water colored using the stamp pad and blender pens. It was a first for most of the ladies. You might notice that it resembles one I did for a challenge except I added the little hat and the sentiment when I got the FREE Sale-A-Bration set with my last order.

Birthday Card Class #3

This one is for a man...some chose to use it for a birthday and some made it for Valentine's Day since the holiday was closer. We did this class in January and I am just now getting to post it.

Birthday Card Class #2

This is the 2nd card we made in the class. It was a fun stamp-a-stack where we did 5 different cards for $20 including envelopes. I had all levels of stampers so I kept them pretty basic. This is one for a little boy.

Birthday Card Class #1

This card was one we made in our class. It uses the new Confetti embossing folder and 3 inks...Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush and Tempting Turquoise. All the stamps are in the Party Wishes set in the latest mini catalog.

Another Class 'Reject'

This is another little card I did that did not make the Birthday Card Class. It is not a bad card or a real 'reject' it just was not one we made in that class. It will be used happily!

Birthday Balloons

I made this card while working on a birthday card class. It did not make the cut but it sure is cute. I love the little balloon punch. It sure beats fussy cutting all those little balloons.

Just for You card

I love this little card for it's simplicity. It is truly clean and simple. I used some of the In Colors DSP with some of the solid card stock in Cucumber Crush and Calypso  Coral to make this. My flowers are Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight.

A Little Kindness

Seen on page 16 I love the designer paper and knew I could easily make this card. I just used a different sentiment and Voila!  A pretty and simple card done! The sentiment is from Kinda Eclectic.

You're Sublime

I wanted to make a quick little card for gift and I turned to a really cute set, You're Sublime for my images. I quickly used the Crab stamp to make a snappy day. I used the background for You've Got This for the blue shading. Who wouldn't like this little card?

A Trio of Turtles

I love sea turtles. They are always a treat to see on a dive. Imagine if you could see 3 on the same dive! Well, that has happened to me one time in my 500+ dives. But it would be fun. I am still looking for the very evasive Leatherback turtle. And, I finally can distinguish between a green turtle (like the one here on this card) and the hawksbill turtle!

Thoughts and Prayers

This little card is a CASE from the one on page 27. I did not have the same stamp set so I simply substituted using one that I often forget about because it is on wood and does not fit with my other sets.

Way to Go!

For inspiration I have turned the the catalog and I went through and marked the cards that I thought I could easily CASE. Now I have been making them.  I either used the stamp set or the sketch for my card. This one features the Bravo stamp set.

Awesomely Artistic

I really love this stamp set. It looks so good in any card I have seen. I especially like the dragonfly. One thing I have seen a lot of since we moved to OKC is dragonflies. We have a lot of water so I guess we have a lot of dragonflies. They really do come in a wide variety of colors. I don't think you can stamp them wrong.
